Our Opportunity:
As our Social Media & Content Coordinator, this is an exciting opportunity to be immersed into the business of fashion. You will be showcasing your love of socials in the day-to-day content creation and execution for the brand and be excited by engaging with our online community across multiple channels to spark connection and cultivate organic social audience engagement and growth.
You will love building relationships across the wider Sportsgirl business and be a part of our high performing and supportive Marketing team, which plays such an important part in the success of our brand.
As a true brand ambassador and making an impact in representing Sportsgirl this entry level role will see you step right into your marketing career with our talented team who love what they do. When you love what you do, it’s not work, right?
Your day-to-day will include:
- Executing the content plan schedule for Sportsgirl’s marketing activity across organic & paid social channels
- Capture still and video content as required for social channels
- Ensure that you are across the latest social media (Tiktok, Instagram & Facebook) trending content & sounds, and work relevant trends for Sportsgirl into the content plan

Assist in executing all copywriting for the social media channels and other channels, as required

Attend external photo shoots to capture social-focused content for use across various channels in line with strategies

Continually identify content opportunities to increase engagement and reach

Maintain professional relationships with both internal and external customers and suppliers
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Marketing and/or Digital (preferred)
- Short courses in Content & Digital across content creation, editing & copywriting
- Previous content creation and social media experience
- Demonstrated Retail business knowledge ideal
- Customer Service/Support experience (community management)
- Strong Time management and prioritisation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Drive
- Customer centric and strong relationship building skills
