Our Opportunity
 
Our Digital Optimisation and Trade Manager is responsible for optimising traffic to the website, maximising commercial outcomes online and driving return on digital marketing investment.
 
Playing a pivotal role in the development and growth of the brand, you will identify opportunities to evolve and improve online sales, profit and customer experience on our website. 
 
Reporting into the Digital Manager, you will lead a team of x2 coordinators to ensure the successful delivery of merchandise and marketing plans as well as achieve sales and profit targets for our online store. 
 
Your day to day will include:
  • Optimising sales and trade of the online Sportsgirl store
  • Implement and execution of merchandise and marketing plans on the website
  • Identify areas of improvement and strategic opportunities for the business
  • Work with Digital Manager to identify, drive and coordinate implementation of site improvements
  • Lead and coach team to drive the on-site merchandising and ensure optimised placement and positioning of assets
  • Identify and rectify existing website issues that could be inhibiting online performance
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
To be successful in this role, you must have:
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in commerce, business or Information Technology / Digital
  • Short courses in Digital across operations, marketing & technicality 
  • Demonstrated experience operating an e-commerce business and working across digital operations and/or digital marketing
  • Previous experience in merchandise planning, analysis & reporting, supply chain / logistics and customer service / experience
  • Leadership capabilities and experience 
  • Solid technical understanding of website development and search engine optimisation (SEO) principles
  • Strong commercial acumen and retail trading skills
  • A drive towards retail excellence & digital growth
