About the role 

This newly created role will play an integral part in our Group function and wider business, responsible for stocktake management, non-compliance reporting and assisting with ensuring stock hand integrity for the Sussan, Sportsgirl and Suzanne Grae stores and Warehouse teams.

Reporting directly into our newly appointed Group CFO, you will identify, assess and manage key risks in the Group and provide guidance and support to the Northern/Southern Group Operations Manager, Business Managers, Stores, Warehouse, Retail & Online Fulfilment Centres on end-to-end stock management process and controls.

Bringing to this role your experience in stock loss prevention, you will be working closely with many stakeholders across the business and building strong and effective relationships.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Document end to end stocktake process for NDC/RFC/OFC & Stores
  • Drive process improvement and efficiency for the stocktake process
  • Provide stocktake workplans, instructions and timetable, where required
  • Review store non-compliance regularly to identify possible fraudulent behaviour/ activity
  • Initiate investigations where required to identify fraudulent activity and/or training opportunities
  • Management of store property alarms, including report analyses and invoicing
  • Coordination of EAS surveillance system installation and ongoing maintenance management where required

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Previous experience in Fashion Retail or similar environment, with risk and assurance and stock loss prevention and controls experience
  • Proven experience in a leadership role
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Training experience
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making capabilities
  • Customer service focused
  • Influencing skills
